Spare Bedroom | Churches of Christ

Your spare room could change a child’s life.

The spare bedroom. Somewhere for friends to crash. A room for family when they’re in town. Or just a place to hide that never-ending pile of washing.

But could it be more than that?

There are over 13 million spare rooms in Australia. Could your spare bedroom become a safe space for a child in need? Hundreds of kids across Queensland urgently need support and care. If you are over 18, living in Queensland, and can provide a safe, stable and caring home, you could be eligible to join our community of carers. There are multiple ways to offer support. Through respite, emergency, or longer term care you can help us address the growing needs of vulnerable children in our state.
