Warm Winter Porridge
Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Assorted fruits (such as berries, sliced bananas, or diced apples) for topping
Method
- In a saucepan, bring the milk to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Stir in the rolled oats and reduce the heat to low.
- Cook the oats, stirring occasionally, for about 5-7 minutes or until they reach your desired consistency.
- Once the porridge is cooked, remove it from the heat and stir in the honey until well combined.
- Serve the porridge hot, topped with your favourite fruits.
