Meet our carers

Specialising in long-term fostering from birth onwards, Josh and Renae have been dedicated foster carers for 18 years. Supported by the Fraser Coast Foster and Kinship Care Team, they have gained invaluable knowledge about the effects of special needs conditions and trauma on children's development.

The team has provided exceptional support, connecting the couple with resources and services tailored to the children's needs. Monthly catch-ups allow the children to share their experiences and ask questions, while Intensive Foster Care sessions provide Josh and Renae with guidance and support.

Their Case Manager has been instrumental in securing medical diagnoses and NDIS support, even attending important appointments. The team's advocacy efforts have ensured the children receive the necessary support for a brighter future.

With comprehensive training workshops and support from Trauma Informed Youth Workers, Josh and Renae have experienced countless moments of support and guidance.
