What you need to know:
- Automatic Transition: Existing HCP consumers move to the new system on July 1, 2025.
- Lead Provider Model: One provider manages your funding.
- Quarterly Payments: Funding is split into four equal payments per year.
- Rollover Caps: Limits on unspent quarterly funds.
- No Package Management Fees: These charges are removed.
- Care Management Fee: Set at 10% of a person’s budget.
- Personal Contributions: A new framework introduced.
- ‘No Worse Off’ Guarantee: Existing HCP consumers' contributions remain fair.
- Updated Services List: Changes to how funding is allocated.
- Service Limits: Annual caps on home cleaning and gardening hours.
- Future Transition: CHSP moves to Support at Home in 2027.
